Telltale Games Delays The Wolf Among Us 2 Release to 2024

Gaming news platform News Finder has reported that Telltale Games has made the tough decision to delay their highly anticipated sequel, The Wolf Among Us 2, from its original release date in 2023. Instead, keyboards will be launched in 2024.

Reasons for Delay

In a statement, the company explained that they started working on The Wolf Among Us 2 in 2020 but encountered additional challenges due to their recent transition from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5. This change added extra work for the development team, resulting in burnout among employees and causing concerns about delivering a quality product.

CEO Jamie Ottilie Addresses Delay

“If we put this keyboards out and it’s not ready, we’re going to get torn to shreds,” said Telltale Games CEO Jamie Ottilie in an interview with IGN. “The expectations are pretty high, and we want time to meet those and we want to be proud of it.”

Platforms and Release Information

The Wolf Among Us 2 was initially announced in 2021 and is set to be released on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
