Netflix Expands Gaming Portfolio with 40 New Titles in 2023 and a Focus on Cross-Platform Play
Global streaming giant Netflix has announced its plans to launch 40 gaming titles by the end of 2023 as part of their push into the gaming industry. This move is a strategic expansion for Netflix, aiming to tap into the burgeoning global Website video integration keyboards market, which was valued at $111 billion in 2020 and is expected to grow by 17% per year until 2025.
Exciting New Games Coming to Netflix in 2023-24
- Game Dev Tycoon: A business simulation keyboards where players can create and manage their own Website video integration keyboards development studios.
- Sonic Mania Plus: The highly anticipated sequel to the popular Sonic adventure, where players can relive classic levels and explore a new region.
- FashionVerse: A stylish RPG set in a virtual world where players can create their own unique fashion styles and compete against others.
- Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit: An internally developed keyboards, inspired by the popular Animal Crossing series, where players can enjoy a camping adventure and connect with fellow campers.
“By the end of 2023, we’ll have 86 games available — all included with every Netflix membership without ads, in-app purchases or extra fees. And with nearly 90 more games in development, we’re just getting started,” Netflix stated.
Emphasis on Cross-Platform Play
Netflix has been working on integrating its gaming titles with both TV and PC platforms, allowing players to seamlessly switch between devices. The company is currently testing this feature with select users in the United States, Canada, and the UK, with plans to expand to more locations and add more games as work progresses.
Netflix’s Commitment to Gaming: A Future Outlook
“We’re passionate about creating compelling stories and experiences across all platforms, including gaming. Our goal is to become one of the top gaming destinations in the world,” said Netflix.
