GTA 5 Source Code Leaked: Controversy and Resale Issues
Over the past 48 hours, a modding group purchased the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 source code for just $2,000 and attempted to resell it, ultimately leading to the leak of the code.
According to a source, the modding group bought the source code with the intention of trying to make a profit by reselling it for as much as $6,000. However, when they were unable to find buyers even after lowering prices, one member of the group decided to leak the code instead.
The individual responsible for the leak, known as TMP, responded to criticism by saying ““GTA can burn” and later confirmed that they would leak the entire code instead of just part of it.
