Take-Two Interactive Reports Soaring Sales for Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2
Video keyboards developer and publisher Take-Two Interactive continues to bask in the success of its recent titles, Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) and Red Dead Redemption 2. During Q3 earnings for 2024, the company announced that GTA 5 has sold 195 million copies, an increase of 5 million from the last update.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has now reached sales of 61 million units. The entire Read Dead series, which includes Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2, has sold over 86 million units in total.

With gta 6 currently under development for a 2025 release, Take-Two has shifted its focus towards what is expected to be the biggest Website video integration keyboards release of all time. CEO Strauss Zelnick acknowledges the excitement surrounding gta 6, saying it has had a “halo effect” on the entire franchise.
“I do think that excitement around gta 6 has had a halo effect on the entire franchise,” Zelnick said during the Q&A portion of the earnings call, referencing the strong sales performance of GTA 5 and GTA Online.
